When you join TFG, you may start as an Explorer. Every time you play on TFG, you gain XP points and eventually reach the next level. Each level has its own benefits, so sign up on TFG and start gaining XP!

An experience point (often abbreviated XP) is a standard unit to assess a user’s life experience and progression through the game. Experience points are generally awarded for the completion of missions, overcoming obstacles and opponents, and successful role-playing. More points means more expertise And expertise feels good!

Another important quality of XP is its cumulative nature. It builds over time. In simpler words, it won’t dissipate after you’ve earned it. As you complete a match, your XP count will grow. Without this quality, collecting XPs wouldn’t be as interesting and addictive as it is. It also opens a whole new set of features and contests for you that you will soon see on TFG.

In TFG, the fact that you’re levelling up is the progression itself- as you earn XP to go through the levels, you’ll unlock different rewards (this is covered in our “How to Play” video). You can earn XP regardless of whether you play the training contests or fantasy, but the premium rewards are of course kept for fantasy games. Users can enter either training contests which have no contest entry fee, or Fantasy Contests which have a contest entry fee. XP levels won in the training contests are displayed in your training cards in the ‘My Cards’ section.

‘My Cards’ tab gives each user a view of the cards they own, along with details of progression on each card (XP points, levels).  Each card progresses once it achieves the XP points milestone for the next level, wherein XP points are earned using:

 (a) participation of the card in a contest,

 (b) fantasy points scored by the player for a fixture and,

 (c) Man of the Match (if won).

XP points and Levels have a direct relationship. As a rule, each level will have an associated XP milestone. Once the user hits this milestone, they’ll level up. In TFG, Every Level upgrades the user’s to Fantasy, Rare, Super Rare, Unique cards that will be displayed in one’s “My Cards” section.

Once you’ve gained enough XP, you automatically move up to the next level and can start playing with your upgraded card.

You should use this motivating factor to drive progress through your consistent engagement in the game. As users progress (and engage more), eventually, they level up and earn access to new experiences and the opportunity to earn even more XP. Thus the cycle begins afresh!
